 Council #6904 Sponsored Activities:

The K of C is the largest Catholic men's organization in the world!  But that fact alone does not bring into true perspective the services performed by the Knights of Columbus.  Knights throughout the world charitably provide much for their Church and their community.  This rings especially true here in Hanover Township.

Elizabeth Ann Seton Council #6904 serves all of Hanover Township and is involved in all phases of family and religious life.  The following lists just some of the many and varied activities that we support annually.  We…

Ø YOUTHOffer college scholarships to relatives of members of our Council

Ø Sponsor a local Little League team

Ø Sponsor a Basketball Free Throw Contest

Ø Sponsor academic awards at Memorial Jr. School & Whippany Park HS

Ø Sponsor youth groups at OLM & Notre Dame Parishes

Ø Hold an annual Christmas Party for Parish families

 


Ø Provide financial resources to Notre Dame & OLM Parishes

Ø CHURCHServe "coffee and…" after Masses

Ø Hold an annual communion breakfast every spring

Ø Provide economic support for OLM Academy

Ø Sponsor First & Second Degrees utilizing our own Degree Team members

Ø Attend federation meetings in support of the Paterson Dioceses

Ø Sponsor seminarians in the Paterson Diocese

Ø Painted Our Lady of Mercy Academy classrooms

         

Ø CHARITYSell Roses-for-Life in support of the Pro-Life movement.

Ø Conduct Drive for the Mentally Challenged, contributing proceeds locally to Allegro School, Catholic Charities, ARC, Employment Horizons, etc.

Ø Donate monies to national and international relief efforts such as Katrina and Tsunami relief

Ø Cook for, and donate clothing to Eva's Kitchen in Paterson.

Ø Support local families in distress by donating to them the proceeds of selected events


 


Ø COMMUNITYParticipate in the Adopt-A-Highway program in Hanover Township

Ø Raise money to support many activities through our annual Tricky Tray

Ø March in the Memorial Day Parade

Ø Painted the exterior of Monroe Hall several times

Ø Support Eagle Scout projects and give out plaques to each recipient

Ø Donated funds for the Veterans Memorial in Hanover Township

Ø Collect Food at various events for the local Food Pantry

Ø Sponsor annual local blood drives

Ø Help local businesses and other charitable organizations in distress

 


Ø FAMILYHold an annual Council Dinner-Dance

Ø Hold an annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner-Dance

Ø Go Christmas Caroling during the Christmas season

Ø Sponsor annual golf outings

Ø Sponsor a local bowling league
